A$DC, or Australian Dollar Cash, is one of the newest stablecoins that is pegged 1:1 to the Australian dollar. A$DC is on the Ethereum blockchain and was minted by ANZ Bank, with 30 million A$DC tokens currently in circulation. A$DC is held $1 for $1 in a trust. Aside from Ethereum, ANZ Bank plans to work with alternative distributed ledger technologies, such as Hedera.
