Calaxy is a token-based app founded by NBA player Spencer Dinwiddie and Solo Ceesay. The app is still in its beta version, and allows creators to issue social fan-tokens. Users who purchase these social fan-tokens will gain varying levels of exclusive access to the creator, such as one-on-one video calls or access to private events. Tokens created on Calaxy are stablecoins that are collateralized one-to-one with USDC. Calaxy uses Hedera Hashgraph’s distributed ledger technology, allowing the app to function in a decentralized manner.
