DeFi Kingdoms is an NFT gaming project. DeFi Kingdoms: Serendale initially launched on Harmony, a Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum. The game’s existing token is called JEWEL. Then, DeFi Kingdoms expanded to the Avalanche blockchain through the release of DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale Realm.
With that, DeFi Kingdoms released its Avalanche-native token, CRYSTAL. Gamers can earn CRYSTAL tokens by leveling up in the game, or by staking their JEWEL tokens in Crystalvale and earning CRYSTAL tokens as interest (this is done through a bridge from Harmony to Avalanche). Gamers can use CRYSTAL for summoning, purchasing in-game NFTs, and more.
