Why it matters:
The company’s vice president Richard Nash reveals that payment systems of Paypal will soon accept all forms of crypto and blockchain services.
This announcement comes two years after Paypal rolled out its buy, hold and sell service for Bitcoin (BTC) across the United States in 2020.
Nash also hinted that he is a cryptocurrency owner, which aligns with the bullish position of Paypal on cryptocurrency.

Brief introduction: OpenSea is the world’s largest open marketplace for NFTs. Similar to eBay, Etsy, and Amazon, it allows anyone to buy, sell and mint NFTs with a decentralized, peer-to-peer exchange that enables users to transact with one another directly in a trustless manner.
Why it matters:
OpenSea unveiled Seaport, a brand new Web3 NFT marketplace that allows anyone to set up new and decentralized NFT marketplaces
In the Seaport, anyone can agree to supply several items in the ERC-20, ERC-721, or ERC-1155 format, which will be known as the “offer.”
The protocol reportedly enables various new features, such as new ways of NFT payment, criteria for transactions, and new techniques for eliminating redundant transfers in order to reduce gas fees.
